The Coleman Memorial Alcove Rare Book Room contains over 8,000 volumes. Included are local history resources, reference materials and health-related works of historical significance. This collection is comprised of books from the Willoughby Medical College, the Topaz Optometry Collection and the Bainbridge Dental Collection, as well as many individual donors.

Artifacts are retained by the Medical Heritage Center to exemplify the evolution of education and the practice of the Health Sciences. Highlights include a collection of dermatological moulages, bloodletting equipment, pacemakers, turn-of-the century doctors' bags and dental cases and stereoscopic viewers and cards.

 

 

The Medical Heritage Center Archives specializes in materials of prominent local health care providers and health-related organizations of Central Ohio. Collections of note include:
