All slides were processed in the original order and groupings given to them by Dr. Guy. Box four contains a few plastic lantern slides. Some of the slides were given names and these titles are indicated on the enclosure of each slide.
The collection of teaching slides was donated to the MHC on
October 16, 2002. The processing of the collection was completed in January
2003 by Kristin Rodgers and Judith Wiener.

Jerry T Guy, M.D.,
F.A.C.P., graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1965
and completed his residency at The Ohio State University Hospitals from
1968-1970. His University appointments at OSU include Clinical professor of
medicine. He has also served as an consultant for the
Network for Oncology Communications and Research, the Director of Oncology at

The Dr. Jerry Guy collection contains a variety of slides used by Guy during presentations and lectures. Many of the slides detail his work in the medical field of oncology.
Series I, 2”x2” slides, contains teaching slides in the 2”x2” format.
Series II, glass slides, contains glass lantern slides used by Dr. Guy during presentations.
Series III, plastic slides, contains plastic lantern slides used by Dr. Guy during presentations.
